See, it’s totally different when they’re gone for a night (or any amount of time) cuz they’re still mine until I give them back to the shelter to be adopted XDD That’s when they graduate, and they’re my kittens until then. XD

And update: Tegan is a girl! I’m so sorry for misgendering you, kitty! Mea culpa. So I’ll edit to reflect her real gender now!

Also: I filled out an application to adopt Calvin! I was so worried that I might come across as the guy who has to adopt everybody, but maybe it doesn’t seem that way? And Calvin makes me so so happy.

I had a major connection with Luck, and I remember promising him that if he didn’t get adopted within seven days (which went down to five…), I’d adopt him. And then he totally broke records and was adopted while he was being transferred from surgery to a cage… he hadn’t even completely woken up yet! That’s awesome. XD A couple saw him and said, “That’s our cat”.

So this is the second official (third ever) foster kitten I’ve wanted to adopt. XD Over 23 years of being around and then helping kittens… that’s a pretty good/Vulcany record, right? XD

Okay, gonna check on the girls again! They’ve got a lot of energy after their surgeries, I’m so proud and relieved.

Sorry I haven’t updated recently!

I brought Calvin in day before yesterday because I was worried he’d been lethargic that night and day… he might have an internal parasite and he probably (99.9 percent probably…) has ringworm which I thought was a scab. ;_; More of my learning curve, I know. I’m well-versed in URIs, though? Sadly. Poor kitties. (they’re better and adopted!)

I brought Tara and Tegan in yesterday to be spayed, and I got to see Calvin! He’s got his voice and energy back, so I’m feeling much better, too.

I get to pick Tegan and Tara up today as well! I’m excited. I really am glad that I can work with them for a bit longer.

I doubled their Hugging Schedule the day before I took them in to be spayed, so I’ll stick to that and I think raise it some more still after a few days. I want to give them the best possible chance I can for a quick, happy adoption, and I want to help them feel as comfortable, safe, loved, and happy as possible around people.

They’re such good kittens, I’m very proud of them. They are improving well, too. :)

They really love this tree… they moved it while I was sleeping! I’ve repuffed it again since I took this picture, too. XD This was right before I cleaned the guinea pigs’ Soggy Bottom Boys’ cage.

Sleeping Tegan! That donut is quite close to me, so this is a huge improvement.

And Tara purred the moment I picked her up the first time today..!!!! I’m so excited! This is huge! Yay Tara!
